How does it work?

A bareboat is just the yacht itself, on top of which a professional skipper can be added.

If you select a bareboat charter for your sailing holiday, you or your skipper are fully responsible for the yacht in general.

What is this?

If you decide to book a skippered charter holiday, you will be provided with a professional skipper who will take care of you during the entirety of your stay! This includes navigating to destinations of your choice, maintaining provisions on board and professional insights into the fundamentals of being on a boat!

Our Destinations

Choose from our top sailing destinations and get ready to embark on a trip filled with memories that will last a lifetime.
We've carefully tailored each route to give you a totally unique experience and a sailing adventure full of incredible sites, amazing people and fabulous memories! Our planned Island Adventure Sailing routes offer an all-inclusive great value holiday in selected areas of Croatia, Greece and Italy. We also have routes in more exotic destinations such as Malta, the Caribbean British Virgin Islands and Cuba.

What is the "added extra"

The "added extra" in an Island Adventure Sailing holiday is not only the skipper, we also include provisioning, then, as required, extra crew to attend to the daily duties, even a cook can be included. This service will really enhance the fabulous time you will experience, sailing with us.

You can also add-on some exciting focus activities of your choice, led by an instructor/guide at some of your destination stop-overs!

Select where you want to go and let us arrange it all. You can sit back and relax, or learn and take part in the sailing yourself - as you wish!

Skippered Inclusive Charter

Your personal high quality yacht always comes with:

 – Your own skipper, inclusive of provisioning (if required) and running the yacht

 – this includes all general running and provisioning costs (breakfasts/lunches, taxes, fuel, moorings, marine park entry, etc.) so that you do not need to worry about paying extra for these while on your holiday.

Should you wish to further enhance the service levels on board your yacht, you can also have:

 – a host/extra crew member to look after you and to run the yacht with the skipper

 – a cook to prepare and present your on board meals

If you also book an activity (or more) during your charter:

-an activity guide/instructor can also be provided…

– taking you hiking, cultural excursions, free-diving, sea-wall climbing, cycling, cooking, etc.

Flotillas & Regattas

What are flotillas?

Flotillas are any number of yachts sailing as a coordinated group between pre-arranged destinations and meeting up all together for group fun.

We host our own, planned flotillas in the Mediterranean's most beautiful areas, including: the Greek Sporades Islands and the Athens Saronic Gulf; the Italian Tyrhennian Sea with Elba, Capri & Sorrento, the volcanic Aeolian Islands and the Sardinian Maddalena National Park; and the Croatian Dalmatian coast, Kornati & Telasica National Parks and the amazing islands of Brac, Hvar, Korcula & Vis.

How flotillas work?

Flotillas are “Lead Yacht Led” where a lead yacht with a flotilla skipper, coordinates all the other yachts around the selected sailing area.

Our arranged flotillas have between 3 to 8 yachts (usually) and sail together around our specially selected destinations having fun safely together; rafting up all yachts together for lunch, finding isolated bays to anchor and swim between the boats, and still all end up together at an agreed end-of-day destination where we will all, once again, join up together for our evening meal, fun and enjoyment into the night.

We organize it for you!

You can join a flotilla as a bareboat yacht, skippering it yourself,, or flotilla yachts can be fully inclusive, with a pro skipper and provisioned, leaving the “crew guests” to have fun together.

Flotillas are great for Yacht Clubs, groups of friends together, even for corporate teams to engage in business activities or team building. If your club needs a regatta, we can also arrange this. Tell us how many yachts you need and what support elements you need (perhaps a lead yacht or organising RIB) and we’ll quote the best we can.

Learn to Sail

Why Learn to Sail?

Quite simply - sailing is loads of fun and enables you to explore many places you cannot reach otherwise.

You can just learn to "crew" a yacht, but when you are a skipper, you will have a recognised licence to charter a yacht, either sail or power, and to skipper it yourself!

Where to Learn

Perhaps the most widely recognised sailing school worldwide is the RYA (Royal Yacht Association), who have training centres all around the UK; also many worldwide.

As an RYA PARTNER we can arrange UK and international RYA training - and also offer member benefits too!

Get your Skipper Licence

Once you have achieved your Skipper Licence you will be able to charter your own bareboat almost anywhere in the world - be adventurous.
