Greece: Skippered Sailing in August 2020 from ATHENS

Let us make August your “post-COVID” sailing holiday of a lifetime… and our 12-berth luxury Ocean Star 60-foot and 56-foot yachts really do offer fabulous sailing and high-end quality!

Location:

You will start and end your memorable Greek holiday at Athens, Kalamaki/Alimos Marina, perfectly situated ready to explore our selected areas.

We have two available weeks from which you can choose either one, or combine both, for that elongated two-week fabulous escape.

Yachts:

Our yachts are truly luxurious, amazing high quality vessels, provided by one of Greece’s leading operators. We have the availability for two luxury yachts, both wonderful high quality 12 berth yachts, luxuriously appointed, both inside and outside, full width dining saloon and lounge, exceptionally well-appointed galley with additional microwave and dishwasher, large ensuite cabins, each generously “more then the usual” for two sharing; just view our photo-gallery to see what you can experience.

The Sailing:

For your one or two weeks on board our luxury yachts, our sail destinations will depend on local weather and conditions. Our targeted destinations include areas across the Saronic Gulf, and over to the eastern Peloponnese; exploring both off the beaten track destinations with beautiful uninhabited islands and bays to explore, and then also to specific wonderful island and mainland destinations.

Destinations may include:

- - - Aegina and Agistri
    - Palaia Epidavros and Poros
    - Hydra, Dokos and Ermione

What’s Included & the Price :

These luxury 60/56-foot yachts each have x5 large double ensuite guest cabins per yacht.

This charter holiday “special offer” INCLUDES:

- - - - skipper and one crew/activity instructor, local tourist taxes, fuel, National Park entry and marina fees, tender, water-toys/SUPs, water on board … daily “celebration” prosecco/sekt after each day of sailing, PLUS continental breakfasts, lunches and soft drinks for 6 days of sailing. (so no need to budget for these when you arrive)
      - Note: this is a “half-board” charter, so evening dinners and personal drinks provisioning, also travel to/from embarkation marina and gratuities/tips are NOT included. Personal insurance (travel/medical) is recommended.

OUR FIXED CABIN PRICE/WEEK for this SKIPPERED charter holiday (high season):

- - - - * €2.495/cabin – shared by two
        (this is a discount reduction from €3.250)
        (equivalent to €1.248/person, when shared)
      - ** €2.095/cabin – single occupancy
        (this is a discount reduction from €2.990)
        (x2 single cabins available)
      - *** €12.295/yacht – whole yacht charter
        (this is a discount reduction from €16.500)
        For whole yacht charter requests – please contact us directly for a payment schedule.
        
        (all prices are subject to rate confirmation update at time of booking)

- CABIN PAYMENTS: there will be three payment dates for this charter:
  - - (i) 1st deposit payment on booking: €300/cabin
    - (ii) 2nd payment by Friday 10th July: €750/cabin
    - (iii) final balance local services, cash in resort:
      €1045 (single cabin) €1445 (shared cabin between two)
    - (Note: whole yacht charter payment schedule, available on request)
  - Note: if CV19 travel restrictions return and are put in place again up to two weeks before charter, then booked clients can choose either (a) to postpone their charter until the restrictions are lifted again, or (b) fully cancel their booking and receive their refund less €50/cabin cancellation cost. This is an Operator guarantee to re-introduce confidence into their market and for our clients to feel safe that if CV19 restrictions return up to two weeks before departure, then you will get your money back!

COVID-19 – when will it end?
Why and how should I register now?

No-one officially knows at the moment when this will finally end.

However, with countries NOW starting to ease their “lockdowns”, the industry thought currently is: trusting that the second half of the season will open by July and be well under way by the start of August (some places earlier).

Indeed, Croatia and Greece are already declaring that their charter operations will open in June… so at the moment, these two middle weeks of August in Greece are being certainly declared as “good to go” !

Registering is nevertheless “non-committal” at the moment – just showing your interest. Bookings will be taken at the end of May
